PART TWO

Dinner Timing

Nine times out of ten, when you ask someone about a wedding they’ve attended, they will be sure to include any mental notes they made about the dinner.

Be prepared for your guests to come hungry.

The wise ones will have purse/pocket snacks, but generally, your guests are comin’ prepared for many boozy cheers’🥂 and to be fed.

Consider setting your guests tummy’s up for success by being intentional about your dinner style;

🍽Sit-down —
✔️a great option for all guest counts.
✔️can be a bit pricey depending on guest count.
✔️guests will be sure to be sitting so they can be there then they’re served.
✔️catering comes with many hands-on-deck assuring guests are fed on time = happy guest tummy’s.

🍽Buffet —
✔️a great option for all guest counts
✔️guests are able to serve their own portions
✔️guests don’t have to choose only one type of plate
✔️ catering comes with many hands-on-deck assuring guests are fed on time = happy guest tummy’s.

🍽Food Truck —
✔️ a fun and new way to feed your guests
✔️guests can usually customize their meal
✔️ I’ve never eaten from a food truck I didn’t enjoy

For example

Sit-down and buffet style dinners are really for all guest counts. Catering will come with many hands on deck, assuring larger guest counts are fed in a timely manner = happy tummy’s.

Food trucks have become a modern and laid-back option to serve friends and family. Food trucks can also present a problem however as they pump out 3-5 plates per 10-15 minutes. If your guest count is low, this is totally a reasonable option. However, with 50+ guests, you’ll be hearing some grumbly tummy’s and potentially cranky guests that forgot snacks.

If a food truck is a must-have and your guest count is 50+, might I suggest having 2-3 trucks.🙃
