Wedding Day: First Look

Couples ask me all the time what I think about having a pre-ceremony First Look.

A First Look is when a couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day. This moment makes for an emotional photo opportunity.

PRO—

1. You can get many of the photos taken before the ceremony = more time to celebrate.
2. It gives you two a few moments together which can also really help release any pre-wedding stress and anxiety.
3. You know the photographer will capture this emotional moment on camera.

CON—

1. You lose having your first look at the altar and sharing the moment with your guests.
2. You'll have to get ready way earlier.
3. Lighting is harsher during the middle of the day for photos.

This is all about your own preference and since this event is all about you two, do whatever makes YOU the happiest 🤗
